I know of books so powerful, they can rewrite reality.
As a respected librarian at Miskatonic University, Daisy had always felt that books were the most important thing in her life. She explored in fiction what she abhorred in life: horror, violence, fear. Then, she stumbled across the John Dee translation of the Necronomicon. It was blasphemous, unholy, and too awful to be read. But given her studies in obscure and occult subjects, Daisy knew there was more truth than fiction within the book's pages. She began to wonder what other secrets the restricted collection of the Orne Library held…
Daisy's investigation into local disappearances during The Night of the Zealot brought her into contact with several others investigating the same phenomenon, including "Skids" O'Toole, Wendy Adams, and Agnes Baker.
Their investigation began as Daisy made a sacrifice she never thought she would accept and burned down her house with all of its lovely books to destroy the vicious ghouls trying to rise up from beneath it.
While the group did succeed in unmasking the cultists throughout town and stopping them from summoning their horrible master, umordhoth, Daisy did not come out of the events unscathed. Without a home and having seen things she did not think possible before, she wasn't sure if investigating the strange book she found or getting involved in this world had been the right thing to do. While they did seemingly save the town, she's not sure if she could ever do something like that again.
